April Favourites

During April, we had some lovely days of sunshine which means hair is styled differently and makeup becomes more dewy and glowing. Last month I had a few favourites for both hair and skin to help me into the summer vibes.

Revlon Lipstick in Black Cherry

Hi everyone, so unfortunately I have no makeover Monday today as I have become poorly over the weekend! I am full of cold, puffy eyes, sore throat, awful skin kind of dealio so here is just a quick swatch of Revlon Black Cherry Lipstick I did last week!

I agree it's not a very summery look but I have been wanting a deep lipstick like this for so long and after buying quite a few that I thought would work (and really didn't) I've found the perfect colour. 

Beauty Buys - Makeup Revolution

Okay, so yes, I am very late on the Make-up revolution bandwagon...but better late than never right?! I have been interested in getting products from this range for quite a while but had no where around me that sold them, I don't like ordering online either just because I like to test the products beforehand if it's something new. However, I was walking past my local Superdrug the other day and they had a MASSIVE sign in the window advertising Make-up Revolution. I practically ran to the stand, a lot of it had already sold out such as the contour and highlight palettes which I would have liked but opted for some other gorgeous looking palettes instead. Plus it was 3 for 2 so you can't not really can you?

Makeover Monday

Hi Everyone, so it's that time of the week again...Makeover Monday! This time I wanted to focus on colour, particularly light, girly shades as this would be perfect for Spring/ Summer. I have never thought I have suited colour on my eyes and have always gone for warm neutral shades and to kick this habit, today I went for pink. Oh and curled my hair too.

Lush Skincare

 Don't you just love fresh, new products!? I almost didn't want to start using these because they look too nice. Anyway, my skincare routine has been a bit of a mish mash lately so thought it was about time to get myself settled into a specific routine again. Since my allergic reaction to a product, (see here), I have become a lot more skin aware and really paying attention to what I am actually putting on my skin. So for a bit of a refreshing change, I went to Lush.
